A site-specific sound work designed for after-dark listening in a botanical garden. The piece uses the natural acoustics of the garden environment, with speakers hidden among the vegetation to create an otherworldly nighttime soundscape.
Composed specifically for this location, the work incorporates recordings of nocturnal insects, wind through leaves, and distant urban sounds, blended with electronic tones that seem to emanate from the plants themselves.
