A meditation on the spaces between sounds, exploring how amplification reveals the richness of near-silence. This video work captures subtle vocal gestures, breathing, and the ambient noise of the recording environment, magnified to reveal hidden sonic textures.
Commissioned for the TarraWarra Biennial 2022, the work invites viewers to reconsider their relationship with silence and to discover the music inherent in the quietest moments of vocal expression.
