Feedback Loops

An investigation into acoustic feedback as a generative compositional tool. This project explores the musicality of feedback, moving beyond its traditional role as unwanted noise to embrace it as a primary sound source.

Created in collaboration with sound artist Peter Blamey, the work features custom-built amplification systems that encourage controlled feedback, creating evolving sonic textures that respond to architectural acoustics and performer intervention.
